CHRISTMAS AND YOGA
Dear students,
Christmas’s coming soon and I find myself neglecting my yoga practice and self care. We are all busy preparing for the holidays, shopping, planning and organizing. It’s the most beautiful, but also the most stressful time of the year. It’s during this time that our bodies and minds need more love and care. Yoga and meditation help us to feel better, leave behind our hectic schedule and enjoy the present moment.
It’s important to keep up with yoga practice at home and at the studio. In this post I’ve included photos of some restorative poses that will help you relax after a busy day and calm your mind.
Take 15-20 minutes at the end of the day to do this practice. Don’t put your yoga practice on hold till the New year resolution. Keep showing up for classes and don’t forget to practice at homeHappy Holidays from Lakeshore yoga.
